Love a dry reisling. Saw this at Trader Joes for $4.99 while I was buying some cheese and decided to go for it.

Nose is citrus (lemon) and some chalk. Intense lemon flavour, some minerality, very acidic and sour. Not quite as dry as I expected, and combined with the lemon it gives it a very 'lemon bar' like taste.

A very competent reisling, easily competing with ones 2x or 3x its price. Only fault is that there is a lack of complexity, its a bit one note on the lemon. It also lacks the sort of fishy/savoury taste you get with some reislings. Definitely a great choice for a table wine with fish, and mild cheese. We had this with rye crisp bread and camambert, was excellent.

Can't go wrong with this, if you've never had reisling this is a decent place to start, it will give you a baseline so you can try some more interesting wines.
