Nose is black cherry, plum, tobacco

Tangy acidity and a little dryness at the start, medium bodied, nice jammy strawberry flavor. Aftertaste of chocolate and rasberry.

This is one of my favorites, its perfect for every day drinking, but has enough sophistication you can have it with a more elaborate meal. It's vibrant and delicious while maintaining some complexity that keeps it from getting boring.

In my experience this is the best red wine you can buy for under 10$ (at the time of writing). Only downside is Costco only tends to have it once per year, normally in the fall. It sells out fast, so buy a case if you see it, you won't regret it.
