Found this in the closet and drinking it to clear up some space.

Initial nose was cherries and some medicinal herb (menthol?). Full bodied, heavy tannins, but not overly so. Some fruit, cherries, plum, and an intense dark chocolate aftertaste. Still some sweetness though.

Let it sit for 30 min before drinking, and drank more that had sat out for an hour, but never really expanded too much. Had some the next day and got a bit more fruit but also the wine felt more thin.

Its fine but not that exciting.

I am not that "into" Sonoma, but most of my favorite wines have come from the Russian River Valley. This one was fine, but as it was around the 20 dollar mark I was expecting a little more.

Didn't really have a lot of really vibrant fruit, or anything else that interesting. I enjoyed it but not worth the price of admission when you can get better wines for near 10$.
